Dr. Kirk grew up in western Pennsylvania and received his BS degree from Gannon College in Erie, PA. He attended the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and served his residency at Eglin Regional Hospital in Florida. He joined WestMed Family HealthCare in 1993 after practicing for six years in Pueblo, Colorado. He is Board Certified in Family Practice. He has special training in Vaser Liposuction and continues to increase his skills through advanced trainings on a quarterly basis.

Dr. Kirk is married and a father of four. He enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, hiking, sailing and kayaking.

He retired from the Army Reserves after 32 years of service.

Registered Nurse

Michele received her Associate in Applied Science in Nursing from Rockland Community College - Suffern, NY in 1973. While working as an RN in Med Surg, she earned her BSN Degree in 1980 from the University of South Florida after which time she joined the USAF. She served six years active duty and three years as a reservist in the rank of Major.

Her experience also includes Nursing Education, Neuro ICU, Cardiac Rehab, Same Day Surgery, Pre and Post Anesthesia Care Units, working in a general Hospital setting and an Orthopedic Surgery Center.

Michele began her career in the Aesthetic world in 2001 when she started performing Laser Hair Removal in the WestMed Family Healthcare Practice.

She became the Clinical Manager of MediSpa in June 2004. Since then she strives to grow MediSpa by incorporating the newest and most up-to-date treatment modalities, as well as acquiring a high caliber of Practitioners to administer these treatments. Michele's goals are to provide the best in personal attention, customer care, client satisfaction and results.

As of April 2009, she has incorporated Vaser Liposuction at MediSpa. She works with her husband Dr. Jude Kirk (who performs the procedure), to meet the high expectations of her clients. She loves working closely with her clients so that they feel well educated and comfortable in their decision to have Liposuction. She provides each client with the best in personalized nursing care, achieving optimal outcomes, and exceeding client expectations.

Lead Medical Aesthetician - Certified Laser Hair Removal Technician - Assistant Clinical Director

Debbie Braun graduated from Xenon International in August 2005. She has been practicing as a Paramedical Aesthetician under Physicians of Dermatology, Facial Plastic Surgery, and now Dr. Jude Kirk at MediSpa.

Debbie is deeply committed to quality service in addition to providing her patients with the finest skin care products and treatments available. She has extensive training in clinical skin care and continues to stay current with advanced training seminars for product knowledge, and state-of-the-art laser technology.

Debbie specializes in Microdermabrasion, a large variety of Chemical Peels, Medical Micro Peels, Sublative Rejuvenation, Dermaplaning, Customized Skin Care regimens and Laser Hair Removal treatments. Debbie loves to transform the skin!

Registered Nurse - Laser Specialist - Paramedical Aesthetician

In 1979, Gail started her nursing career at Boulder Community Hospital in Boulder, Colorado where she explored various areas of her field including Medical Surgical, Emergency, Orthopedics and Pre-Surgery Testing. She specialized in the Obstetrics field working in the Women’s Unit since 1995. Her focus there was as a Mother/Baby nurse and as an instructor teaching Newborn classes for expectant parents. Her hospital experience also included Women’s health, GYN issues and the care of post-surgical patients.

In 1996, Gail graduated from Toni & Guy Cosmetology School and became a Licensed Aesthetician. After completing extensive training in Aesthetic Medicine, she started her practice as a Nurse Injector and Paramedical Skin Care Specialist. She was instrumental in successfully launching one of the earliest Boulder Plastic Surgery Skin Care Centers.

Since 1996, Gail has concentrated her efforts in the aesthetics industry using Botox, Dysport, Dermal Fillers, Intense Pulsed Light and Laser Treatments and sharing her knowledge of skin care products. She continues her education to stay current in her field to advance and improve results. Her specialty is injectable dermal fillers such as Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm, Radiesse, as well as Botox and Dysport treatments. Gail makes it her goal to provide treatments in a professional and caring environment with minimal discomfort. She truly enjoys her job and caring for her patients.

During her leisure time Gail likes to hike, bike, travel, shop and spend time with her family.

Certified Laser Technician

Katrina Garcia has been a Certified Laser Technician since 1999. She began her career with Advanced Laser Clinics and worked for a renowned plastic surgeon as a Laser Technician. Through the years she has continued her education by attending classes, seminars, and many learning opportunities to further her expertise in the field.

Katrina has been employed by MediSpa as a Laser Technician since 2004 and has been MediSpa's certified laser trainer since 2005. Katrina has had extensive training with many types of lasers and is also certified in Laser Leg Vein removal.

She also has experience with many skin care products, procedures, and treatments from the natural end of the spectrum to the medical-grade type of skin care. She has a wonderful personality with a knack for making people feel at ease and safe while providing personal care for her clients. She is an essential role to our great team here at MediSpa.

Paramedical Aesthetician

AmyBeth joined our team with an extensive background in Education and now enjoys educating and treating her clients as a Paramedical Aesthetician under Dr. Jude Kirk at MediSpa.

With her experience in the education field her expertise in skin histology, AmyBeth provides her clients with a wonderful understanding of how to truly rejuvenate and transform their skin. Her knowledge and training allows her to effectively diagnose and treat her clients’ skin conditions, preventing future issues and correcting the concerns at hand.

AmyBeth looks at skin care from a “whole body” approach. She treats the skin not only from the outside-in but also the inside-out. She takes this concept and combines it with an individualized treatment plan for her clients. In addition, AmyBeth uses her advanced training in Laser Technology and Skin Resurfacing. She specializes in the use of Lasers, Chemical Peels, and Microdermabrasions to help her clients reach their ultimate skin care goal.

B.S.N, Cosmetic Nurse Specialist

Melissa received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Wyoming, and comes to MediSpa with several years experience working exclusively as a cosmetic nurse specialist. She has had advanced training with injectables which include, Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, Restylane, Perlane, and Radiesse. She also has extensive experience in Photo-Rejuventation, Laser Hair Removal, and Chemical Peels.

Melissa enjoys teaching her patients and helping them achieve their cosmetic goals with the safest, most effective treatments.

Certified Laser Technician

Elena Lopez has been working since 2001 as a Certified Laser Specialist. She has always had a strong passion for skin care and enjoys researching ingredients within different products and the effects they have on the skin. It is very important to Elena so that she may utilize products to their fullest potential and avoid any contraindications that may occur.

It is vital to Elena to bring out one's most beautiful features through skin care and make up applications. She has been working with clients doing make-up applications since 2003 and consistently works toward staying current on latest trends. Elena loves when client's look and feel their best. It makes her feel wonderful and confirms the love she has for her work!
